Oh the dreaded words, “Office Attire.” Most of the time, those two words make me cringe. I think of outdated slacks in weird fabrics, tops in weird prints that make you think who even approved the design to go to production, and the shoes…ugh don’t even get me started on the shoes. If you work in tech or in some startup environment, as a woman, you know office style is always a thought in your mind. “Don’t wear clothing that’s too revealing. Is this too sheer? Will my boss think this is office appropriate? Slacks or jeans? Nice blouse or should I blend in with the team, wear a hoodie and call it a day?”
I get it, I’ve been there. It’s hard to believe that we have these ailments as we get ready in the morning to go to work. It’s been five years of me working in the tech world and I think I’ve finally mastered the “I work in tech but not that kind of tech” office attire. For me, it’s a good pair of jeans, tops in all sorts of neutral colors and a go to pair of heels, loafers, booties or sandals depending on the season. I keep jewelry at a minimum to avoid distraction from peers, less is more in my opinion, and makes getting ready in the morning a breeze? Sure, we all have our different work environments, but I’m curious to know…

It is the second U.S. spacecraft to make a soft landing on the Moon (Surveyor 2 crash landed) where it will study the lunar surface and send more than 6,300 pictures back to Earth.
